Claymation

I (Joy) have had a wonderful time with my students in beginning a new project called Claymation. It was introduced to me by our Technology "Wonder Woman", Julia. In my Writing classes, the students were given topics to choose from and were told to write their own creative story from one of those topics. I chose four stories to be the winners for each class and assigned each student to a group, to begin working on claymating that story. The above pictures are the students working on creating their sets and characters of their story. The finished product will be like a cartoon, the students will begin taking pictures and narratoring their story once we get back from Christmas break. It has been a fun activity for all! Technology is amazing and I can't thank Julia enough for all the help and work she has put into this activity.
