A few girls from our Marriage Builders Class were able to participate in a Bible Study titled, "Apples of Gold". We met every Tuesday night from 6pm-9pm. The first hour we were able to watch Betty (our cook) make various foods and gain some insightful tips in the kitchen. The second hour was dedicated to our bible study and prayer with our mentors. And finally, the third hour we were able to eat the food that was prepared and have table discussions that pertained to our lesson for that week. It was a wonderful ministry and I took so much knowledge and encouragement away each night!
