This is the face we woke up to in the morning. Nadia and her daddy served me breakfast, picked some flowers, and made a special card.
After church, we had a nice lunch at Robin Alexander's on the patio and then stopped at the Old City Cemetery. They had a special Rose Tour that was free in honor of Mother's Day, and the flowers were beautiful. We bought our own special rose bush to remember our first Mother's Day together as a family, and we're looking forwarding to seeing it bloom next year! Later in the evening we went rollerbladding on the trail and had angel food cake with strawberries for dessert. It was a special day with lots of lasting memories.
