I (Joy) had the privilege of going on the Business Rocks Field Trip with twenty students from our school. We went to several different businesses and colleges in Lynchburg. The trip is funded through the city and it's goal is to target urban students that have good work ethic and the potential to go to college. They also want to get them excited about going to school in the future and instill in them how important it is for them to do well in school. The kids had a blast and so did I, because I was able to get a substitute for the whole day!
