An idea (from the Lord) popped into my head last year before the end of school to start some type of a group for girls. I wanted to target "at-risk" girls in the 6th grade. My friend Elizabeth got really excited when I talked to her about it and together we've created S.T.A.M.P. The group wouldn't have been possible though, without the $1,000 grant we received from a local business. We have eight girls right now that we're working with and we meet every Monday afterschool. So far our crafts have entailed the following: candle making, cookies, bracelets, cards, and ornaments.
