Munich, Germany

Our first Bavarian meal and evening in Germany. We had many different meals during our stay in Munich, but one of our favorite dishes was the Goulash soup and of course the soft pretzels were always tasty snacks. We also enjoyed eating at the world famous Hofbrauhaus, the buffet was amazing and the entertainment, enjoyable.

A German style breakfast includes lots of meat, fish, and cheese. Thankfully, they also had cereal, yogurt, and fruit.

We were able to see the Neues Rathaus, town hall, and the Glockenspiel, the town hall's tower. The Neues Rathaus was built from 1867 - 1909, is Gothic in style, while the Glockenspiel shows parts of Munich's history and has existed since 1908.

The "Dunbar Middle School" Gang at the Hard Rock, everyone seemed glad to get a break from the sausages and bratwrusts for a change.
