Our tour of the Salzburg Salt Mine was quite the experience. They had us dress like the KKK, ride some sort of a mine cart, slide down wooden beams, ride a boat across salty water, and walk through the mine shafts with very little lighting. We kept saying, "this would never be allowed in America, people would sue their pants off." Overall, it was well worth it.
Salt is what gave Salzburg its name and wealth.
