Bavaria, Germany

Wies Church was built on beautiful, rolling farmland and admist the Bavarian Alps. The church was built to house the famed weeping carving of Christ. We purchased one of these yummy donuts after our visit to the church, and when we reached our bus we decided we should have bought more.
Our next stop was Neuschwanstein, one of the world's famous castles and the model for Walt Disney's castle. It is located in the Bavarian Alps with breathtaking views in every direction. It was built by "Mad King Ludwig", who never was able to fully enjoy the completion of the castle. He died a mysterious death at the age of 40, no one knows for certain what happened.

The gold/yellowish castle below is where King Ludwig was raised.
